You were right about being conservative in your estimate, so I was pleasantly surprised. But I was surprised by more than the dollars. I didn't think I had any particular "expectations," but I must have.

For example, I was tremendously impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of your staff. To have transformed my home into a retail store in two days was nothing short of amazing. And your people were so nice! I could have adopted any one of them happily. Please accept my congratulations and gratitude for the excellent estate sale you and your firm conducted at my Mother's home in Falls Church, VA. I was most impressed with the skill and efficiency of your team in sorting out the saleable from the junk and then setting everything up on display. I was not at the sale personally, but serveral neighbors decided on their own to look in on the event. An event it was too, I understand. There were many people who were there ready to buy all there was to be sold, and at reasonable prices. I thought that there would be a larger audience of people without the means to purchase many of the items, or simply there to nose around and see if they could make a steal (or steal something), but I was delighted to find you had sold everything from the valuable artwork to the silver to the pots and pans, cuttlery, dishes and other ordinary kitchen items.

I am delighted with the job you did and most appreciate that I didn't have to do all that work. As a matter of fact, I did almost nothing, except be a cosultant on what was to be sold and for how much. I had heard that some companies just come in, take over, and the owner is no longer in control. I would not have appreciated that insensitive, autocratic approach.

I want to thank you for the superb job Four Sales did in selling the items in my in law's house. As you know the house was stuffed full of valuable china, glassware, paintings and furniture from the basement to the second floor and in the garage. You staff did a great job of quickly organizing and pricing all the items. It was amazing what was accomplished in one week.

As you know I was very concerned about the sale itself but as you said the first time we met, the Four Sales staff would take care of all the details. You were right. Your staff was professional and courteous, and was involved in encouraging sales. Just want to let you know I was able to make your last estate sale in Vienna this past weekend. In the past year or so, we have been extremely busy and our weekends so tied up we have not been able to attend any sales by Four Sales. I was delighted to have one right across the street from my work which made it very convenient to attend at lunchtime! Good thing it was not payday as there were so many great things to purchase and I would have been broke. Got to hold in the reins sometimes! But I did find some delightful items and some coordinating decorating things for my daughter's master bedroom. Too bad I did not have a large car...that leather sofa was a great buy!!! Over the past few years I have gone to many “Estate Sales”, none of which were better organized and efficient. The staff of Four Sales did not leave a stone unturned in the setup and execution of the numerous and rather detailed functions required to conduct a successful estate sale.

A particular feature which I found to be unique was the aesthetical arrangement of items which allowed potential buyers to better observe items in which they may have an interest.

The basic functions of the sales were conducted to perfection, Items priced by a professional appraiser, signage and parking directions were clearly marked, assistance was readily available in the sales area and check-out and collection of monies was most professional.

The unsold items which were considered useful were saved for donation to needy families or charities. The remaining items and trash were then bagged up and disposed of, thereby leaving the home clean and trash free.
